The 2009 ELCA Churchwide Assembly began with worship on Monday, Aug. 17, and will  conclude Saturday, Aug. 23, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Host synods are: Minneapolis Area Synod and Saint Paul Area Synod .

  From August 17 - 23, you will find live webcasts, video, photos, audio, in addition to, ELCA's blog, Twitter and Facebook portals. All plenary sessions will be broadcast live on the web; video and photo highlights will be posted daily.

Faith Lutheran Church in Everett entered the video contest sponsored by Odyssey Networks and Lutheran Film Associates. At this time their video is in the final ten.
