 ost a synod gathering\, not an assembly - more about that soon! However\, 
 there are business items to attend to before we hold our next assembly in 
 2027. So\, as was shared prior to and during our May 2025 Northwest Washin
 gton Synod Assembly earlier this year\, we will be recalling the 2025 syn
 od assembly voting members to a special online meeting to attend to a few
  specific business items.*\nThis Special Meeting of the 2025 Synod Assembl
 y will be held online on Saturday\, May 16\, 2026 from 9am-12noon.\nFollo
 wing a welcome and devotion\, we will address only these four items of bus
 iness:\n\n2027 Budget approval\nElection of Synod Vice President\nElection
  of Synod Secretary\nElection of a Synod Council Youth Representative\n\nN
 ote - this is not a mini-assembly - there will be no other reports\, greet
 ings\, resolutions\, or business items.\nThis email notification has also 
 been sent to all who served as voting members at our May 2025 NW Washingto
 n Assembly. If any of your ministry site's voting members are unable to se
 rve\, your council may elect a new voting member who shall continue to ser
 ve until the next regular Synod Assembly. Please have your council presid
 ent or pastor send that notification to Susan@lutheransnw.org at the syn
 od office ASAP - by Monday\, March 16\, 2026 at the latest.\nIn early Apri
 l an email with registration information will be sent to all 2025 Synod As
 sembly Voting Members (or their replacements.)\nRegistration will be requi
 red to receive the Zoom link.\nThere is NO COST for this meeting.\nWe look
