Update on Companion Synod

Our prayers continue for all who are affected by the horrific events in and around Ukraine - including our siblings in our Companion Synod, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in European Russia (ELCER). Below you will find an update from Eva Mader, a member of our Synod's Team Russia, regarding the ELCER Archbishop, Deitrich Brauer, who we recently learned has fled from Russia to Germany with his family. It includes a recent interview with the archbishop and a YouTube link to a prayer service at the Lutheran Cathedral in Berlin.
