UPCOMING SERVICES & CELEBRATIONS

  • Rev. Priscilla Paris Austin will be leaving her call at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seattle (July 21.) While we will be sad to see her go, we are thrilled that she has accepted the call to serve as Assistant to the Bishop in the New Jersey Synod - beginning mid-August. We give thanks to God for the rich shared ministry - and pray for God's blessings as she (and her fabulous family) prepare for this time of transition. (A celebration will be held on July 19 at 3pm at Immanuel - all are welcome to join.)

DID YOU HEAR?

  • Church of the Apostles/Seattle has selected Rev. Nat Johnson (Episcopal) to serve as their next pastor. They began serving at COTA on March 25 and their installation was June 28. God bless this new ministry partnership!
  • St. John United/Seattle has called Rev. Katie Yahns to serve as their next pastor. She began on April 1. Her installation was May 23 at 2pm. God bless this new ministry partnership!
  • SALM Ed Reyes will be concluding his contract as an authorized minister at Hope, Lynden. His service of ending was on May 31. We give thanks for the blessings of this partnership.
  • Rev. Chelsea Globe has concluded her call at UW Lutheran Campus Ministry - Her sendoff was June 7th.
  • Grace, Des Moines has called Salvador Cossio to serve as their third pastor. His Ordination and Installation was Friday, June 12 at 4:00 PM. God bless this new ministry partnership!
  • Our Savior's, Everett has called Rev. Ollie Bergh to serve as their second pastor. He began June 1 and installed on June 21. God bless this new ministry partnership!
