UPCOMING SERVICES & CELEBRATIONS

  • Rev. Heidi Calhoun has accepted the call to serve as pastor at Living Hope Lutheran Church in Renton. Her installation service will be 2/23 at 2pm. (Living Hope is the new ministry - born of Nativity and Cross and Crown)
  • Bobbi Jo Cyr has been called by the NW Washington Synod to serve as Deacon and Mission Developer at Luther's Table! Ordination will be March 8 at 2pm at St. Matthew's, Renton; Installation on March 9 at 2pm at Luther's Table in Renton.
  • Rev. Kathy Ierien has accepted the call to serve as pastor at Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church in Seattle - she will begin in March. Installation date TBD.

DID YOU HEAR?

  • Rev. Dave Thomas concluded his call to Cross of Christ in Bellevue on 1/12. Blessings to Pr. Dave as he relocates and discerns his next calling.
  • Deacon Patrick Meagher concluded call at Phinney Ridge Lutheran (Seattle) on 12/15 to pursue an education program - blessings to you, Deacon Patrick!
  • On 11/17 Grace Chinese Lutheran Church (Seattle) welcomed their new pastor, Rev. Joshua Ng (Episcoal Church)
  • Rev. JT Burk's final Sunday at Prince of Peace (Shoreline) was 11/24. He has accepted a new call to Agnus Dei Lutheran Church in Gig Harbor
  • Callie Moothart (synod candidate) has been called to  serve as the next pastor at Christ Lutheran in Federal Way - her ordination was 11/16 at Mount Cross in University Place
  • Cross & Crown / Renton and Nativity / Renton are noew New Hope Lutheran Church! (official paperwork will be completed by the new year)
  • El Camino de Emaus/Burlington welcomed Rev. Zulma Tifre (UMC) as their part-time mission developer - Rite of Beginning service was 11/2. God bless this new ministry partnership!
  • Christ/ Ferndale officially welcomed Rev. Leigh DeVries (PCUSA) as their new pastor on Sat, 10/20 at 2pm. 
  • Bethlehem/Sedro Wooley officially welcomed Rev. Wilma Reyes (UMC) on 9/18 (in ecumenical partnership with Central United Methodist Church and St. James Episcopal Church)
