Called by Beauty: A Day of Discernment

This retreat invites us to remember that life comes through movement and creativity. We close our LiVE program year not with more analysis, but with aesthetics. Beauty is God’s way of calling us back to ourselves without demanding anything first. In this final retreat we celebrate our callings in the beauty of music, art, dance and poetry. Leaders throughout our synod will share their gifts of creativity in a variety of artistic mediums.

We will celebrate how the Spirit brings them, and each of us, to life. This Spring retreat is not an ending, but a sending. It is an opportunity to recognize and discern our various gifts of beauty God is calling from us, and continue to fill and sustain us with joy for the journey. What is your gift?
