We are proud that the NW Washington Synod has over 30 schools and learning centers that operate as ministries of their congregations! 

The Evangelical Lutheran Education Association is the office of schools for the ELCA and serves as a membership association offering discounts, insurance benefits, HR support, consulting, coaching, and other resources to support school and church leaders.

Evangelical Lutheran Education Association Event!

Registration is now open for the NAES/ELEA Biennial Conference 2026, taking place November 18-20 at the JW Marriott L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles, California. Centered around the theme, “Be still, and know that I am God.”  Psalm 46:10, this conference is a meaningful opportunity to pause, reflect, and engage alongside educational leaders from across the country. Keynote speaker is Dr. Lisa Miller - professor, clinical psychologist, and acclaimed author – and the event will feature over 60 peer-led workshops covering a wide range of topics.
