Bishop Call Process Nominating Period Open

During the May 16-17, 2025 assembly, we will pray for the Holy Spirit’s guidance as we elect a bishop to lead our synod for the next six years. 

The nomination period will be open from January 15, 2025 until February 16, 2025.

Any member of a congregation in the Northwest Washington Synod may nominate one rostered minister of Word and Sacrament in good standing in the ELCA, including our current bishop who is eligible for and willing to serve a second term if nominated and elected.
